This year's Modern Family Show @officialmysurrogac This year's Modern Family Show @officialmysurrogacyjourney is THIS Saturday and we are super proud to be appearing in the @lanefertilityinstitute Educational hub at 3pm alongside the amazing Helen Burgess from Gateley discussing Workplace rights when building a family being interviewed by the incredible @annarichardso.
Hope to see some of you there!
In this week's episode of The F Word at Work, we'r In this week's episode of The F Word at Work, we're marking #worldchildlessweek with a fascinating conversation highlighting how we are ensuring this community are recognised in the workplace.

We share an amazing panellist who spoke during a session we hosted for @zurich_uk who talked about her experience of childlessness and how she finally reached a place where she could speak out at work.

Our session focused on childlessness was facilitated by the amazing @katy_schnitzler @mist_workshops who shares insights from her academic research. In this episode plus you will also hear the fascinating Robin Hadley talk through the male experience of childlessness and how overlooked men are when it comes to this topic.

You can listen via the link in our bio. We'd love it if you could rate and review the podcast and please do share with your colleagues, this is such a hidden topic in the workplace we really need to do more to raise awareness, provide better understanding and support.
This week is World Childless Week. Where society This week is World Childless Week.

Where society focuses on and celebrates positive pregnancy outcomes, childlessness is often ignored. This leaks into the workplace, which can leave this group of employees feeling isolated and ignored.

There's a misconception that childlessness is an assumed choice, when in fact 90% is involuntary. With childless employees making up 20-30% of the workforce, a figure set to triple in the next 25 years, does your workplace recognise this group of employees?

At Fertility Matters at Work, we know that not every fertility journey ends with a baby. Sadly there are no guarantees and, more often than not, fertility treatment doesn't work. The emotional toll doesn't end when fertility treatment ends, it's something people carry with them.

Awareness raising and education about supporting those who are childless not by choice is fundamental for an inclusive organisation. We're proud to partner with the wonderful Katy Schnitzler of @mist_workshops to offer awareness raising and training on the topic of childlessness. If you'd like to learn more about how we can support your workplace, book in a call through the link in our bio.

The F Word at Work Podcast is back, with series tw The F Word at Work Podcast is back, with series two kicking off with a conversation all about surrogacy and the workplace. As our co-founder Claire says in this clip, surrogacy is even further behind when it comes to fertility support and the workplace, with very few policies even recognising the term 'intended parents'. Employee situations are often being shoehorned into an adoption policy which isn't relevant to their situation and doesn't recognise the complexity of their path to parenthood.

There is so much to learn from this episode where we chat to one of our amazing partners, Michael Johnson-Ellis, co-founder of @officialmysurrogacyjourney, @twodads.u.k and @themodernfamilyshow.
